Richard Graham earned a B.A. In English from the University of Kentucky (Lexington),
and a M.Div. in theology from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Louisville).
He and his wife Lane have two great sons, one wonderful daughter, a delightful
daughter-in-law, and two beautiful granddaughters.
He was the pastor of five Southern Baptist Convention churches from 1979 to 2004, in
Utah (serving in the Mission Service Corps with his wife Lane), in Tennessee, and in
Kentucky. Then, in 2004, he and his wife moved, in a step of faith, to SoCal (southern
California), where he served as an interim pastor, an evangelism minister of a church,
and the Evangelism Director of the Long Beach Harbor Southern Baptist Association for
16 months.
Then in August of 2005, he became the Director of Missions (DOM) for the Long Beach
Harbor SBA, until May 1st of 2019. As DOM of that association, he and his wife Lane
were also North American Mission Board (SBC) missionaries.
Then he and his wife retired, but they asked the association to commission them,
without funding, as RV Missionaries. They traveled the United States, sharing the
gospel and encouraging believers to be disciples, until January 2022. At that time, they
bought a house in Louisville, Kentucky, and became available for supply preaching,
interim pastoring, and training witnesses in various churches. They still plan to do more
traveling, and they continue to share the gospel almost daily wherever they go.
Richard has written two books: “The Yoke Partnership — Discover God’s Purpose of
Partnership in Redemption, in 520+ Bible Passages of Proof, Plus How Calvinism and
Arminianism Dishonor God,” and “The Graham Biblical Lectionary,” which has the 520
Scripture passages used in this book. More writings are in the works.
